Just wanted to give a shout out!

Bought my '09 BLAZING orange S3 about 2 weeks ago, she has 600 miles on her.
I am coming from a 25+ years of street riding from my first RD250 to a bunch o' bikes in between to my current '06 FJR1300 and now in addition my S3.

I do have an issue with the rear tire on my beast. I think it may be a bad tire.
I notice a vibtration around 55-65 then kinda goes away a little at around 75. I noticed the dealer had about 1 1/2 oz. of weight on both sides of the wheel (tape weights). That is the most weight I have seen on a wheel in a long time.

Anyway it goes in for its 600 mile ck up and they will take care of whatever the problem is.
They will give me a loaner bike while my bike is in there.....hope it is a thruxton......although they do sell suzuki also so i may get a dang 250 intruder...

I dont think the weights on the wheel will be anything to do with the dealer as the wheels would already be attached to the bike on arrival, the vibration could be from the drive chain

On my 08 it had the most weight Ive ever seen on a rear wheel and the front also had a heap but what I noticed was that at high speed it had a Harmonic vibe that got worse the higher the speed it was scary.
It would start at 110mph and the faster I got it felt like somthing was going to blow. PS I havent got the bike anymore sold it had too many issues with it.
