Gear/Rpm/Speed ?

Just curious, newbie here, first highway ride, in 6th gear, I was at 5000rpm whilst doing 80-mph?. The reason I question that is that that seems like a high rpm for a realatively low speed. Just wanted to see if that is normal. Also, is there anywhere on the display where I can see what gear i'm in on the display.
Sorry for the stupid newbie questions, thanks for everyone's patience and wonderful feedback I have received from all the questions I have asked...Cheers...Dale

And if you double that to the 10,000rpm limit you will be doing 160mph... make sense?
I'm guessing you come from a cruiser background?
Let it rev, your just getting to the fun part of the powerband!

This is correct rpm. You still have some more to go...
No gear display.

That is just fine. You may be comparing your bike to a car. If you were riding a 600 you would be even higher. Don't worry and enjoy that thing.
