Zard Install HELP!!

No, this isn't another "I got the wrong year pipe" thread... that was my *original* issue...

I have just received the proper 07 pipe for my 07 Triple, but now a new problem has arisen. The bracket is installed behind the foot peg as instructed, but now when I go to mount the pipe it doesn't line up! If I allign the mounting bracket with the tab on the pipe, then the pipe doesn't reach the midpipe! Likewise, if I secure the pipe into the midpipe, then the brackets no longer line up! *** is going on now?

HELP!

apparently nobody is able to help. have you solved the prob yet? i would think the maker of this pipe would have things matched.
if not ,get an arrow and be done with it

My roomie and I just modded the bracket. Actually it was very easy, and now the pipe fits solid. Not to mention, it sounds like a demon
Pics included for those interested...

Before (barely in the midpipe, weird angle, scary loose)

Close. I *am* from Vancouver, but I'm currently serving out my rookie pilot days in Canmore, AB. The edge of the Rockies, approx 1 hour from Calgary. Sick riding, when you find the right roads, but a short riding season, and it's easy to square off those Pilot Powers between here and Calgary

Thanks mom but it was 22 degrees C and it was a rip up and down the cul-de-sac for the sole purpose of the video. So I think my Sidi boots and riding pants may have been overkill

22 deg Celsius? That's chilly! We have to wait until November to get that low here...
