Question any rcommendations for a waterproof shell?

okay, i'm getting married next week and we (me and 2 of my buds) are riding out to the wedding location. the forecast is rain almost all the way!

i have a waterproof textile jacket, but i don't want to wear it because weather is supposed to be awesome on most days we are there. so i want to wear my dainese perf'd leather jacket and want to buy an outer waterproof shell.

any suggestions from you guys? i know marmot makes excellent products, but i thought i'd ask.

cheers!

bought a Frogg Togg Road Toad a few weeks ago, seems OK so far...breathable, water/windproof & cheap

Congratulations!

Where are you riding to?

I have the Triumph rain suit which works fine for me. I have no first hand knowledge of any others.

I rode that in June during our RAT weekend to Lolo Pass. In fact, three of us made the loop into NW Oregon and up to Lewiston/Clarkston. Excellent riding. And don't forget the Spiral Highway just N. of Lewiston. What is the rest of your route? I grew up around there, so I am happy to make any recommendations.

+1 on the Frogg Toggs. They are compact and pack away nicely so you can pull them out only when you need 'em. I wore mine during a long road trip to MN last year and on the way back I got caught in a very heavy thunderstorm and kept warm and dry. Their waterproofing is pretty amazing. You can find them cheap on eBay.
