Stalling out/clutch concerns

Since getting back from Mid-Ohio, I have been having a bit of trouble starting out from stop with my Speed Triple without winding it out. Ill feel the clutch start to engage, while rolling slowly on the throttle, but then there will be dead spot that will stall out the bike unless I wind it out a bit. The clutch cable and linkage seem ok. I have been riding this bike for over a year with any problem prior. Any thoughts.

Im thinking of using Seafoam and changing the oil/filter as a start; they are due soon anyway. I figure since its a wet clutch it cant hurt incase i got some poop in there.
