Well they brought the bikes down from Daytona bike week and I got to ride four models. I was looking fore ward to trying out the 05 Speed Triple and was in for a good time.
The bike shifted very well. Smooth and positive. The clutch was also light and progressive with a adjustment wheel.
The engine felt like it had more snap to it when I gave it the juice. It ran nice and smooth.
I would have liked to have ridden it further and explored it's capabilities but you know how the demo rides are with a group and a leader.
While I enjoyed the experience I don't have the need to get a 05 at this time and will keep my 02.
You folks that will get the 05 will have a great time.
