sweet! Thanks guys!

As always I appreciate the help/information. I just contacted my dealer, they will load the arrow tune for about 20 bucks. I'm gonna give that a shot this Saturday. I'll let you know how it works out.

This forum rocks!

I am perfectionist what can I say. Why do something half ass?
As long as he gets a richer map he will be close. Right now, he is way off the mark.

Your bike won't run like crap. lol Won't run it's BEST.

yeah, you could go to the dealer and load the TORS or the ARROW tune (both WITH the SAI). That will be JUST fine.

NO NEED for a custom MAP to be made.

A TuneBoy is more than just the ability to upload various MAPs. For example, I recalibrated my speedo to reflect a far more accurate speed and as a result I rack up less mileage now.

The stock bikes have a Speed that is AT LEAST 6% off. So if you think you are doing 120mp....you are actually doing 112.8mph. And realistically, over the few dozen bikes we've linked to a TuneBoy...the speedo error is more than 6%. way more.

The costs for the dealer to upload a MAP varies greatly. Mine charged me $29. Another dealer in the SAME CITY...charged my friend $70. And now, here in California, some dealers aren't downloading MAPs anymore citing fear of fines since these exhausts and MAPs are meant for racing only. That's what sparke dme to really buy a TuneBoy. Now I share and upload different MAPs all the time...takes 5 minutes and it's fun to experiment.

i was under the impression that the 6% error is not linear so it may be 6% at 40 mph and 7% or 4% at 80..

It is linear enough. If you correct to, let's say, 100km/h against a GPS the speed shown will be very close to true across the board (naturally impossible to get to stay 100% accurate as rear tyre wears).

Great! ..Sounds like you're a lot closer to the perfect tune.
If you a picky, take it to a dyno and get a tune-boy.
