I just mounted a jet black street triple flyscreen on my 2008 jet black Speed Triple.
I have to say "whoa" ! This thing looks awesome. I didn't care for the "bat wing" points on the Speed Triple flyscreen, so I bought this on ebay for $215 made for the STREET version. The mounting is pretty easy. All you have to do is make a small cut in the bottom plastic base plate lip to go over the headlight mounting bracket. The cut is about 1/4" deep and 2 cm wide roughly along the center edge of the plastic plate. Then you just notch out one of the three holes in the base plate so all 3 holes will align nice and straight.
The install took a total of about 30 minutes with the mod. It was easy.
Yes....I REALLY like it. Photos to come. The BLACK looks great.
My digital camera won't work with this Windows Vista laptop. Figures. I went to Canon's website and there are no drivers for it, so , I need a new camera. It's too old. Give me a couple of days and I'll post them.
In my opinion, the STREET flyscreen looks better. It gives the SPEEDY a slightly less bug-eyed look because the screen jets out over the top of the lights like an eyebrow brim. It flows well with the curves of the body. Triumph should make two base plates so you can use whatever screen they make for both models.
Oh yes, I noticed the wind at freeway speed was hitting my upper chest instead of my mid chest....90 mph felt like 80 mph. So, I think I got a few inches of wind blast deflected or at least cleaner air blast. I'm 6'2"
Okay...I'll go get a new camera tomorrow after work. Check back tomorrow night. Fun stuff.
Here are some CRAPPY photos. It was getting dark when I took the pics. I like the lower angle of the screen. It's slightly more pointed than the SPEED triple one.
What do you think? Is it lame or cool? I will adding an Arrow exhaust and Pazzo levers this week....and yes, I know I need to cleen the bugs of my front end. I have 4700 miles on it and I have owned it a little over a month !!!

Dude get rid of the gay refelctors on the forks...pull them off and clean off the sticky tape that holds them on.
I think these bikes NEED the belly pan...gives the bike a "chin" and a more aggressive stance.
When you put the Pazzos on...remember to save the metal bushing from the stock lever and use it in the new Pazzo! Won't hurt to put a small dab of lube on the bushing and it's easier to install the clutch lever if you loose the clutch cable down by the motor AND the lever.
I went back and forth in my head about high or low mount for weeks. I decided to go carbon dual high mount to maintain the bike lines, but also to not hide the cool single sided swing arm that gets lost behind the low mount.
