PETER (Wolf)

I have issues with my carbon cans less than a year of having them on. What are the odds we can resolve this?

I realize perfectly well they are meant to swivel, they are not solidly mounted.

Now the cans are SUPER loose, they jiggle and flop around excessively.

No, I have NEVER crashed, they are in perfect condition as is my 2007 Speed Triple and it's stored in a garage. Point being, the cans have seen absolutely ZERO abuse. Those that know me know I take meticulous care of my bike.

I tightened the nuts on the can caps nearest the foot. No help.

This sounds like something internal has failed and is no longer providing support.

Have you contacted Peter directly?

Without doing so, I would guess that you chances of resolving the issue is fairly slim.

Drop me an email through the site and we can sort it out for you - there is in fact nothing inside to fail as they are a solid piece of metal front to back - but everything we do is covered by an unlimited warranty so whatever the problem we'll be able to sort it out for you

Thank you, sir. I emailed the site prior to this original post but it was returned undelivered. It's always possible my server was having difficulty, I'll try again.

I used an email address I had from you back when I purchased the product and we communicated back and forth about delivery information.

The current resolution is Peter wants me to send my exhaust cans back to the UK for inspection.

I'm debating this. It will be several weeks then without exhaust and no bike to ride. I could, however, re-install my stock exhaust and re-MAP it accordingly for now.

I'm debating just removing the cans, taking them apart and cleaning them up and selling them on EBAY and ridding myself of this crap and getting something that doesn't include so much difficulty.

According to USPS it will take 5 days to get them to us - I will need them no more than 30 minutes and then our carrier gets them back to you in 2-3 days so you should only be without them a week or 8 days at most. Or you could try what I told you to do in the email and tighten them up - as I said before there is absolutely nothing to break in these cans unless somehow they have sheared through 2mm thick solid stainless under no stress what so ever. If the nuts, clamps at the front and hanger straps are all tight there is acually no physical way anything can move about....
