Hi all,
I'm looking at picking up a 97 T509 Speed Triple,
bike has been well taken care of, its at 23,000 so nearing the 24,000 service mark, i'm working with the current owner to go ahead and get the service done before i pick it up, any other T509 owners out there that might be able to tell me what to expect moneywise on the service would be brillant, or even what things need to be looked at by the dealer.

Cheers!

i got 955i serviced there at triumph dealers it was 12000mls service with valve clearances etc got stung for £400, pretty steep i thought, so i would expect your 24000mls service to be similar, got to admit it ran a lot better after service but i will be carrying out future services myself, your doing the right thing getting it done before buying i done it the other way round it will also show up any probs with bike giving you peace of mind if you buy it.good luck,my pal has 509 no problems at all with it 23000mls on it good bike.
