Turns out it was my fan. We got to the plug that supplies power to the fan while the fan should have been on (103C). The mechanic pushed the blades a little with a screwdriver and it spun right up. The fan turned smoothly until it hit a certain spot where it would stick. Replaced fan and all is good.
Problem solved!
