Question for those with GSG headlight kit

I was installing my GSG headlight/instrument relocator and I notced that two of the mounting points are where the ignition key is. Did those of you with the kit only use the two outside mounting points or did you drill out the ignition and use four?

No need to drill. Hammer a, few tenths too small, torx socket on the safety screw stubs and you should be able to unbolt them. Superglue on torx might help a bit as will keeping pressure on torx socket while turning.

The bolts unwind out easy once you manage to break the initial tension.

I ended up being able to get one of the ignition bolts out and left the other one in. Seems to be pretty secure.

Thanks for the info even though it did not work for me. I detroyed both bolts but managed to get one out like NightTrain. I cut a slot in it with a dremmel and managed to hammer it loose with a screwdriver. The bolt I got out was covered in a half inch of red locktite. I had to work at it till it was almost completely out. So much for " bolts unwind out easy once you manage to break the initial tension". Big thanks anyway.

On my early '05 there was no threadlock at all. Maybe people at Hinckley have noticed that the bolts come out a bit too easy and the threadlock has been added to later bikes.
