Exhaust Hanger Removed

I just bought a new (2008) speed Triple. I've removed the rear footpeg hangers, and this has left a bare (unpainted) patch on the frame with 2 ugly bolt holes on either side. I don't suppose anyone knows of anywhere I can buy a plate which can be bolted on to cover the place where the hangers were attached?

Just make your own out of some aluminium and paint them black. Or go to your local hardware and see if they might have somthing that might fit like those plastic bungs that they use on metal chairs.

Go to the Jack Lilley UK web site, They have plates to cover the foot peg and the exhaust holes. Quite expensive but tidy!!

I'm pretty sure Triumph have them in their accessory list. Crazy expensive for what they are though - about £30!!

Called Frame Finishers - Footrest Mountings - you can get from your Triumph dealer £22 - the nuts & allen bolts are not great quality - nuts are just compressed out of shape and a pain to tighten.
