Chatter/Vibration while in Neutral

I noticed recently that my '06 seems to have more vibration and maybe a slight chatter or rattle when I let go of the clutch and am in neutral. Is that normal? I don't think it did it when the bike was brand new, but I guess it's possible I just didn't notice.

It doesn't sound abnormal. How bad is it?

It's not terribly different than just holding the clutch in, but it definitely only happens when the clutch is released while in neutral. It's audibly different, and if you are on the bike you can feel more vibration, but it isn't a drastic difference from the rest of the engine's operation. I guess it's probably fine, just figured I'd ask in case it was a sign of impending doom.

Yeah, I think that you are OK. I believe that mine does the same thing. I think it is the clutch assembly but nothing to worry about.

I would say its just he clutch. Kinda like the cry clutch rattle of a Ducati.
