Does the passenger footpeg extender make a difference?

Any of you guys used the passenger footpeg extenders? Does it make much of a difference? Wife is really complaining. Requested I put the speedy up for sale. I will but at a really ridiculous price. Might never sell.

What year speedy are you riding? Maybe an upgrade to an '08 is in order? Apparentely the passenger pegs have been moved down (as a result of customer input on previous models). So... maybe you SHOULD sell yours, but buy another. I think you could swing some sort of "honey, I bought the NEW bike so that YOU would be comfortable" sort of explaining. Good luck!

I have the GSG 5cm extenders. Yes they make a difference. Look butt ugly too as on the up-position they still make pegs poke outwards quite a bit.

One option is to dremel the triangular pieces off from the brackets and switch them left <-> right. Will improve passenger comfort even more, but might result in your heels bumping onto brackets. Depends on how big your foot is and how far back you prefer to plant your boot on the pegs.

My gf said the 02 speed triple was much more comfortable than the 05. Just my 2cents.
