So you have the MIVV? How do you like it? Where did you get it? Are you running it with the silencer in or out? I am thinking about picking one up this week. I was dead set on the Mivv but have started looking at the M4 in the same style.
I will try and make it out to Monticello sometime do yall go on a group ride? Any decent roads out that way? Will i be the only guy toting a girlfriend or should i leave her at home?

I'll try and get up to Monticello in the next few weeks.. I'd love to hear that Mivv up close, as a low mount exhaust is near the top of my to-do list for this summer.

it is the best upgrade for the bike. i tore the stock cans open to see how they are constructed, it is amazing how much restriction is in them. that is what made me buy the mivv, ordered it from PJ's parts and two days later i got it. went to motoprimo and had them put the arrow map without the O2 sensor and the SIA. I took out the precat as well. I ride without the silencer, (it's loud) sounds sweet. anyone or anyway is welcome, as long as your on two wheels. the ride is only about a half hour long, but for me its a hour and a half ride there and back, besides it gives me a destination when i ride. there is usually anywhere from 4 to 20 bikes that show up.

Just ordered the Mivv from PJ's. I actually had about a 10min convo with PJ and he was a hell of a nice guy! We chatted about which maps people have been running and what kind of feed back he is getting on them etc. We also talked about steering dampeners (that will be my next upgrade 4 sure!)
So you are running the "arrow" tune? How is the off throttle on throttle response? I have heard some say that it is very abrupt and harsh. Any input will be appreciated.

Hey, I'm in Corcoran. Is your exhaust a slip on or full system? What's the sound like? Did you need to get a Tune Boy for different mapping? I know the Culvers in Monticello. I'll deffinately do one of those.

I'm actually going to Vegas next week for Freddy Spencer's High Performance School (level 1). It's at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, so after next week I might have a little more perspective to offer.
And yes, I've used the S3 at DCTC. With all that torque and such a smooth power band, it really is an ideal ride for that track—no need for hunting for gears so you can put all you attention into getting your body position ready for the upcoming corners. And as I pointed out, it's not a fast track so you don't need fairing to duck behind.

Hey, thanks for the info. I'll check it out.

Promod---The arrow tune is definitely the one you want. To me the throttle doesn't seem to be abrupt or harsh, but the throttle is definitely snappier than stock and the S3 seems to have a bit more pull. I've had the mivv on my 07 for about a year now and love it. Run it with the baffle out, sounds mean. Just remember, lay off the throttle thru Stillwater if you ever make it that way, the cops like writing out those noise ordinance tickets. Be sure to post if you come across a good custom mapp for the mivv. Maybe i'll see you guys around, I do most of my riding in the Washington/Ramsey county/St. Croix valley area. If you see a black 07 with the mivv lowmount and no mirrors (for now), then thats probably me.

I will try the Arrow map when my pipe comes in. I am friends with a mechanic who will flash it in for me and only charge me if i decide to keep it that way. I had a full custom map in my 02 speed triple done by Silver Back Racing over in St Paul (it was that way when i bought it).
If you ever want a custom map done you should go see them. They are experience with Triumph stuff and have a crack tuner who runs there dyno operation. Last time i talked to them about doing up a tune boy map for me they quoted me 6 hours on the dyno for a full custom map.
Yes the map in my 02 was perfect... No i don't think it was worth 6 hours on the dyno at $125 an hour! I am very demanding of my bikes and want it to be smooth. I don't want to be at full tilt coming out of a corner and twist the throttle only to get a 20hp hit at the wrong time. Guess i will have to try the Arrow map and see how it works for me. Thanks for the input!
