Sorry for delay in responce, the link was replace with what looks like the same style unit although it does look like it is a better finished casting. Time wiil tell.
Having spoken directly to Hinckley via the phone, they have unoffically commented that the link is tested to well over 250 Kg (550 lb) to allow carring of passenger and luggage, so it would seem that weight loss will not be a requirment thankfully as dieting is a real bitch.
