New Paint!

so i've officially recieved permission from the wife to get my S3 repainted...

the big question naturally is what color do i go for?
was kinda thinking about a graphite similar to the 1098S (which i'd link but the pics just make it look black)
although some kind of blue wouldn't be half bad...
of course then again i did just buy a jacket with red stripes...

do you see my quandary here? suggestions?

I saw a Moto Guzzi V11 that had been repainted flat maroon with only one piece glossy - the seat cowl. It was stunning. As far as my own tastes go, I'd like to repaint my plastics flat sky blue. Kind of an Estonian flag combination what with the black motor, silver frame, and sky blue upper body. There are entirely too many options. Good hunting!

I have yet to see a 1050 painted red, that might not be a bad look.

But, since I'm not going to be able to paint mine for a while ($$$), I will say that British Racing Green would be the sex. That is what I have planned for mine...

Have you gotten a rough estimate from anyone regarding the cost to repaint it? Just curious.

Secondly, are you gonna order the factory stickers/emblems and put those back on under the clear coat?

Flat black is always a good look for a Speed3. However i do like the flat british green that is in the banner ads here.
