Just got my new S3 08 for 400km or 300 miles so i am breaking in right now.

Under acceleration and decelleration (all I do right now) there are vibrations in the footpegs between 4-5K (really to be felt pretty good) and in the handlebars between 6.5-8K (so much even the rev pointer in the tacho vibrates)
Any gear.. when i pull the cluch all is gone..
I used to have an 2005 S3 for >2 years but didn't notice this..

Is this normal and have I forgotten? Any ideas?

Take it to the dealer. It should not vibrate like that.

If you are really worried about it, take it back to the dealer. But, my guess is that the vibration you are feeling is normal. As you know, the break in process is the harshest time for an engine. I bet that everything is OK.

i would bring it in... there are some times that the engine vibes more than others... but hard enough to shake the rev needle is a bit much there

I think you have already posted this on the 'other' board. I'll go ahead and respond here. Many dealers have NO idea at all how to set up a Triumph. Was your dealer a Triumph specific dealer or are Triumphs on the same bill there as Suzukis and Hondas? If the latter, then you can bet that the mechanics are Gixxer experts, not Triumph/Speed Triple experts.

If (and I say 'If') that is the case, I would NOT take it back to your place of purchase. Instead, look around and see if you can find someone in your area who specializes in Triumph. Take it there. You will most likely have that dealer refusing to honor the warranty because you did not buy it from them, but try and talk them into it anyway.

Also, look around your area for a good indy mechanic who specializes in Triumphs. Worst case is you have to pay $$ out of your own pocket to correct problems, but whatever. It'll be worth it to get issues resolved by someone who knows what the hell they are doing.

I'll go out for a ride in an hour.
First check the chain when i sit on it, but i checked on a stand and it had like 40mm slack..If that's ok I'll go to my dealer as soon as I have reached the milage that "allowes" me to ride 6-8K.

My dealer is an old BMW dealer and current official Triumph dealer, the owner who is operating as a machanic there is racing an 675 in supersports and doing most of his own work.. So i qualify him skilled and trust his knowledge.

By the way, i also noticed that when the bike is in neutral and I try to rev it slowly trough the revs in the 4-5K area it kind of jumps from 4K to 5K..
