Rubbing Clutch Cable?

Greetings fellow S3ers,

I just bought a 2007 and have 600 miles on her so far. I noticed today that the clutch cable is rubbing on the backside of my radiator. It's already rubbed through the rubber and is now rubbing on the bare cable. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

It seems there should be a some form of hook/retainer that prevents this. I'm wrapping some electrical tape around it until I can get it back to the shop.

Abnormal. Cable's probably routed improperly or too short (wrong cable). Return to dealer (who likely prepped bike and really should have caught this serious, life threatening safety malfunction, hint-hint). But, we're all human. Demand nothing less than a new cable, installed properly on a bigger, more expensive bike and some soda, breath mints, pizza, leather jacket, free insurance for a year and don't forget bigger different color bike with working cable. Ya know.

There is. Unless someone forgot to put it back at maintenance time, or mismounted the guide.
