My bike already came with a pair of Arrow cans but I have never been over enthused with the sound or look of them.
After a bit of consideration between the SC project and Scorpion I decided to go with the carbon Serket taper.
I'm still waiting for a remap so I haven't taken the bike out for a good run yet but so far I'm extremely happy with it. The finish is superb, probably the best I've had on an exhaust. You can instantly feel the weight loss and lower centre of gravity and the sound is great. For reference the Arrows always had a high tinny ring. The Scorpion has a very deep growl.
Pictures speak a thousand words so here you go ...
I have a low mount also and my only gripe is that it hides the sssa. That pipe looks great on your bike and I think arrow made a 2 into 1 option so you would have a generic map to start with.
I don't mind covering up the SSSA so much as it's made cleaning and adjusting the suspension a breeze.
I would have liked to have seen an exhaust set up like the Daytona or CBR600RR. They should have retired the dual round cans when they got rid of the round head lights
I've got one on my 2010 S3, titanium finish. I used Tuneecu and installed the Triumph map for Arrow low mount exhaust. Works absolutely bang on. :bananawrench
It's hard to get an exact figure but OEM is about 8.4kg and the Scorpion is 1.9kg. So 6.5kg saving. That brings the kerb weight down to 205kg, about the same as an S1000R
No I'll be keeping them for when the bike is sold. More people like the high set up.
Got the bike back yesterday from having the Arrow 3-1 map. Holy piss flaps the bike is immense now. By far the best exhaust and map set up. It pulls like a train and sounds like mechagodzilla.
Awesome, that's great to know, been trying to figure out what the wet weight of the stock 2016 S3S was. When i finally get my '16' S3S the low mount slip-on will be one of the first things i do to this bike.
