Smile Pirelli Diablo Rosso's for Speed Triple

If anyone is thinking of trying them - do it!
I'm 200+ miles in to a new set after having used the Mich Pilot Powers. The Pirelli's give much better feedback, you can change line mid corner better and the few wet roads I hit early this morining just wasn't an issue. They do everything the Mich's do, but noticably better!
I tried them because I always loved Diablo's on other bikes, the Rosso is billed as the new improved version and Pirelli UK are doing £30 cash back at the moment. Great road tyre and worth the money even without the cash back!

How do they rank with the Corsa IIIs? That was going to be my next tire.

Pirelli Diablo Rosso's for Speed Triple

Sorry I've been away. don't bother with Corsa III's unless you are a doing track days and you are very quick on the track. You will run out of ground clearance on the Rosso's before you run out of grip. Rosso's warm up almost immediately and are awesome in the wet and dry. I've done over 1000 hard road miles on them and they still looks brand new. Can't rate them highly enough!

+1. I`ve had 2 sets on my 675. They take longer to warm up, they`re rubbish in the wet (no tread on the last inch either side) and I was only getting 3500km`s from a rear. On the track they stick 'like sh*t to a blanket' though.

Pirelli Diablo Rosso's for Speed Triple

Are you talking about the 675 OE fitment Dragon Supercorsa Pro's?
It's a totally different tyre to the Diablo Corsa III and Diablo rosso. Supercorsa Pro is a replica of the Supersport racing tyre which is for winning races in the dry. Personally the DCIII is as good on the track as the Supercorsa Pro, so if you ride on the road and on the track in all weathers, why buy the Supercorsa Pro? The Rosso is awesome on the road in all weather and good enough for a standard speed triple on the track. I sound like a Pirelli salesman I know, but i just love their tyres.

I have about 200 miles on my corsa 3's and love them. could be me but feel much better in hard corners and less slippery when brand new. feel much more confident stuffing it in and hammering down in a hard lean. already no! chicken strips left on the right side. I'll have to see how the track does. thank you pirelli
