I want to move my weight forwards byt fitting flat bars instead of the standard ones, or even clip ons. Does anyone have any advice in this respect? I don't want to remove my flyscreen, or the Laminar lip which sits on it.

Search.

barring that you'll get 100 different opinions. My favorite is clip on from Cycle cat. (go to my album -- member 1, page 10) for details.

My bike had clip ons. I could NOT get rid of them quick enough! I hated the postion, about town, on the road and going around corners. Just my 2 cents!

I have Renthals on my ZRX, ala streetfighter type and Rizoma bars on my S3. Their both nice, also with the LSL rearsets i am more forward than before. I fitted a bar snake and gel grips.... now i have NO vibs anywhere. It really makes the bikes better. In fact I did an IRonbutt this year on the ZRX....1000 miles in < 24 hours without my hands going numb...

carbster09,

I'd like to see how the Rizoma bars look. Do you have a photo album? Also, which bars did you buy? Did you need to change the risers?

Thanks,
Capt.

I had flat drag bars on mine. I loved the position but they ran into the tank, severely limiting the turning radius. After trying the Woodcraft (too extreme) I now have a set of Daytona clip-ons. Not as comfy as the drag bar but I think I can live with them.

I would appreciate any photos of drag or flat bars.
