I'll keep that in mind. For now I'm still looking for more info on the two alarms I inquired about.

I don't know about the talon, but i know my scorpio paging alarm does not integrate into the stock alarm light and it does not allow you to disable the alarm unless you disconnect the power. I have called scorpio regarding deactiving the alarm if the fuse goes dead and they said i would have to disconnect the power and let the alarm go thru 3 cycles.

Some pro's about the scorpio is you can get it with the backup battery so if the motorcycle battery dies your alarm is still active, and you can get an ignition kill that will allow you to disable the ignition from the remote should someone steal the motorcycle.

I don't even lock my Jeep when the hardtop is on. The only reason I would consider the paging is for trips when I'm in a hotel room on a trip.

1. Does the SR-i600 utilize the factory alarm LED like the Talon system does?
2. Does either alarm allow deactivation by just turning the ignition key a set number of times like the factory alarm?
Going to be installing my SR-i900 tomorrow. It has auto-activate and de-activate via perimeter sensor and it came with ignition cut-off. As for your questions:

1. won't know til I install tomorrow -- user manual does not mention it
2. it has a feature that wil allow you to dis-arm the system after one cycle via turnsignal activation (1-left, 2-right, etc.)

Will post tomorrow when/if I get it installed.

Thumbs up Scorpio SR-i900

Install was easy with the Triumph Y-connector. If anyone is concerned about having to cut into wires, you only need to cut one in order to attach the ignition cut-off. It all work as advertised and it's loud. The most work is where to put everything in under the seat. You have the main module, the ignition kill, perimeter sensor, RFID antenna (sensor to arm/disarm alarm when the remote is within proximity) and all the wires. It fits but it takes up almost all the little space that was there.

One downside is that 2 of the connector clips popped right off when installing. That was offset by a very helpful tech support (Harley -- his name not the company) that immediately shipped out replacements on their dime.

Oh, it does not use the factory LED.

Total install time was appx half an hour tops.
