Just bought an 03 back in October after seeing all the stuff about the 05 and not falling in love with the snubbed tail and various other specifics. It'll grow on me though. I'd have to ride one to really form an opinion, but the stats and reviews look good so far. I definitely don't like the new style body work. The lines are just too straight and jagged. I like the flowing smooth contours of the previous body styles better.

Congrats if you're getting one though. I hope its as fun to ride as it sounds, and mechanically sound.

I picked up a TWO, Two Wheels Only, book at borders last week which has a nice review on the new 05. Definately sounds like a more stonking motor compared to my 03. Now if I could affix those nice forks and 5 spokes to my 03 HMMMMMMMM

Thats awesome.. I bet that carbon fairing cost a couple of bob too... would've preferred to see the logos in gold rather than red though.
