I have the Matris 3. Awesome little piece.

The best place I found to get the dampers from are www.pjsparts.com. GREAT great place, the best customer service. If they have it in stock great. Most distributors don't and need to order it from manufacturer. Even so, PJ's had my damper to me in 2 weeks!

Matris does make a damper for the 2006 Speed Triple. I have it for my 2007. They work really well and unobtrusive. I would recommend it.

I contacted PJs parts and found that they can ship to you. Try this website- www.pjsparts.com

You will find that Pjs parts to have excellent customer service. If you want to get a Matris Damper, they are the place to buy from, if any.

Question? has anyone checked out a KTM steering damper? it mounts directly under the bar to a similar looking triple tree. i wonder if parts could be modified? the bars and mounts are similar. anyone looked into it?

jprallyart, I think there are plenty of dampers that are easy to mount on the handlebar/clamps. The problematic part for an over-clamp damper on a Triple is the tank side. Only one tiny M6 bolt for the tank on that side -> not really sturdy enough for the constant back & forth of a damper.

I am sure the KTM has proper mounting points on the steering head. Yes?

Edit. Is this the one you were talking about?

Looks interestings. Maybe it would work with just the one bolt after all. You'll need to tap a few new threads to the top triple clamp though. Trippy top clamp does not have the 2 rightmost holes the SuperDuke clamp has.

HI

I'm looking to get a matris m3 ofr my 09 speed triple and wondered how straight forward they are to fit? It's difficult to see how they mount and if you need to drill/ take the yokes off? thanks Ian
