Depends on the Triumph model you have and where you bought it. Final assembly of Triples is to my understanding still made in Hinckley. Parts are made who knows where.

Classic models and Rockets for US market are made in Thailand.
Bikes sold in other EU countries might be made in either.
Don't know where the small Daytonas are assembled.

Supposedly the 11 character in the bike's VIN tells where final assembly was made.
J = Hinckley, UK
T = Chonburi, Thailand

Source of info: Rocket site.

I had heard that all the triples were out of Hinkley, but if the Rocket isn't I guess that's not wholly accurate...

My previous understanding was that the classic model (twins) production had been moved to Thailand. Didn't know it was a US market thing either...

I was told that the Scrambler model is the only twin still made in UK. I did a quick census of the Bonnies in my local dealer a while back and yes - the only one that had a J was the Scrambler.

As far as I know all triples are made in UK and also twins for sale in Europe. A lot of metalwork for all bikes is made in Thailand (but not engines). I think this is the case for Jap bikes as well - lots of components made in China.

I did the factory tour in 2006, at that time they were assembling twins and triples there. The frames and engines were made from start to finish in the factory but a lot of parts like tanks and exhausts were made in Thailand. Most of other stuff like brakes, suspension and electrics etc are purchased from specialist manufacturers, just like Ducati or the Japanese bikes.
