Metal tank replacement...

Hi,

I was about to put a deposit down on a late 07 triple but someone beat me to it a day earlier.
Sods law eh? :P

The only 07 left is the green demo bike, earlier 07.
I was wondering if its possible to swap the plastic tank for a later metal one?

Would make my life a little easier when it comes to luggage.

Otherwise I might have to save a little for an 08.

Thanks all.

Can't argue that there are more tank bags with magnets out there (more in my garage even...), but there are some nice options for tank bags that have mounting hardward on the gar cap so they don't sit on the tank like Triumph's solution. Might be cheaper than a tank swap...

Check out this thread on Sprint Forum - same products apply.
My personal choice is the Bags Connection QuickLock - lots of choice of sizes / shapes using the same tank mount. Easy on / off.
