Installed "Clubman bars" handlebar (PART 2)

Hello Team:

PART 1 is here:

http://www.triumphrat.net/speed-trip...handlebar.html

The "clubman bars" handlebar is gone..!!! It was too much for my wrists and back in "stop & go" traffic.

I guess sportbikes are not for me

Also the lights were changed to a "dual" setup.

Here are some pictures of the new headlight setup with Rizoma bars:

That looks (& I bet feels!) a whole lot better.

Still not a fan of those mini lights though - three, two whatever - the traditional frog eyes are hard to beat & already a distinctive differentiator vs other bikes.

Too bad I liked the look of the clubman bars. (But may spend the money and be in the same boat as I do like upright.) That looks like the ideal solution for me as I would like to go clip on but have to many electronics bar mounted to get rid of them. IE GPS and even my Dakota Digital cluster. How much you want for em?lol.

I agree that I like the BugEyes however, they stick out WAY TO FAR.(Once the fly screen and Stock cluster are removed) Other than the WildHair bracket I have found no other solutions to suck them back into the frame. Sticking out like they do all naked and such looks well.... Crappy. I may end up having to join the headlight conversion (dark)side.

Nice - I have Rizomas too and they are a good fit.

If you could change your headlights to red your bike will look like an Ewok (sp?) ala StarWars coming down the road....

Actually, I was envisioning some evil robot from that strange movie, 'Hardware' (or was it 'Hardwired'). Personally, the headlights would look better if you had the flyscreen to cover the instrument panel. Sitting exposed, they seem to detract from the entire look. IMO

+1

Too many wires, cables and brackets for my taste... but then again the wrong screen could look a lot worse.

Totally agree...!!!!

Trying to fit a pair of HELLA lights to make it look closer to the original.

Previous owner installed those projector lights. it was originally 3 lights. removed one but still looks bad.
