Scratch that, i now see looking at them the differences in shape, though it is slight. Still curious to know how bright they are compared to stock though or what trouble anyone has had through inspection.

You can get them Triumph branded from Jack Lilley. The 2008 blinkers are the same ones that appeared in Triumph accessory catalog for 2007:

If I remember correctly they came as a pair, so you need to order 2 sets. Direct replacement for old style 1050 blinkers. I have had them since last summer. Still like 'em.

The LED's actually are more noticable both day and night -- they're quite bright and they "flash" differently. Bulbs kind of get bright and then dim as they flash -- led's are instantly full intensity and then instantly dark, so that helps them really stand out.

You will have to get a relay or resistors, though, because led's draw less power so they flash really fast with the stock flasher. Resistors do the job but they get realy hot so you have to watch where you install them -- they can melt plastic. Relays are a few bucks more but worth it in my opinion. I just bought one that supposedly plugs right in to both Kawasaki and Triumph in place of the flasher and automatically adjusts the flash rate no matter what load is on them. We'll see if it works...

I live in Minnesota and they're pretty cool about mods up here. We don't have state inspections. If you do get pulled over, it's up to the cop what he's gonna try to nail you with as far as illegal mods... Truth is that motorcycles need a horn here, but they don't need turn signals -- it's legal to ride without them as long as you use hand signals.

This is really heading off topic from the theme which is supposed to be on the 2008 styling. However I did want to respond to above - I am doubtful that the same relay would fit both Triumph & Kawasaki. The Japanese bikes relays typically are a different pin configuration.
Check the pin configuration before you install it - it should be per CF13GL-02 per this link. I think you'll find for the Kawasaki the power & ground pins are reversed.

Not keen on 2008 model changes

I recently took delivery of a new S3, I did consider waiting for the new 08 model but having seen these pics I`m glad I didn`t. For my taste I am not keen on the new radiator cowls, look a bit cheap and plastic to me. I actually really like the gold forks on the previous models.
Only minor things but I`m glad I went with the 07 model.

Gold Forks

I agree with you guys about the black forks - I much prefer the gold ones - I had the option of an 08 model but opted for an 07 in Roulette Green which I think goes much better with the gold. Wheels are not bad though but the orange is an acquired taste I think.

Someone from the UK please find the person who designed the radiator shroud & beat him/her to death.
With any luck it will be the same person who picks the clothing models & we get a 2 -fer.

Much prefer the look of the 07 tbh.

The rad shrouds and new rear end are a bit ugly really.
Dont care much for the wheels either.

I believe that radiator shroud is a accessory item. The stock one looks like this.
