Fast and Slow colors??!?!

I am new to this S3 thing and really really want one. I currently have a 05 Yamaha R6 with everything you can do to it and think I am going to put the track plastics on it for good and make it my track bike. I have always had a soft spot for the speed triple and am trying to learn as much as I can before I Purchase mine.
First, what is this color thing I keep running across... are there actually difference in color (Ive heard this) and Ive also heard that some colors are better for holding the riders ginormous balls and the like (heard this too)
so it seems shrouded in jest and acutal fact, but I cant seem to discern between the two.
Also will the Arrow Dual Himount benefit from the same triumph arrow map that works for the 3 -2 -1 Gp style pipe. Thanks a ton guys and I hope to join this elite crew soon.
I really really want a white one so if someone could tell me its benefit (ie power up high, torque, etc etc) I would really appreciate it

lol...Omninbob, don't let all that color b.s. get into your head. The color has nothing to do with the power or torque. Or even accomodating someones ginormous sack. It's all self justification for what they bought. It's kind of a mind game we all play with eachother. Every bike site I've been on in the past has the same jokers. Go buy your speedy and enjoy!

I've heard the orange will make you prone to asking if your jeans make you look fat.

Black may be fastest, but only on paper. While its true that black has the most horsepower, thats only because it revs higher. Everyone knows that the black ones give up alot of torque to get the higher reving horsepower, but only gains a few ponies up high in the powerband.
The green ones don't have quite as much top end horsepower, but have a massive torque punch, and are only a few ponies behind the black ones. The green ones have much more usable power and are even faster on the track, because of this. I think that with an aftermarket exhaust, the green ones can put out much more torque AND horsepower than any other color.

Orange isn't the fastest, but it is the only color to come with a free set of training wheels.

Ahhhh -- I love it! Maybe we did take the color thing a little far, but hey, it's winter and some of us can't ride... Gotta have something to do for fun!

Get yourself a Speedy, in whatever color you like, Omnibob -- it's a whole different experience than your R6. Both tons of fun, but the Triple will be more comfortable, have much more torque, and be all around much better tuned for the type of riding you typically will do on the streets around home. Not bad on the track, either, but they are just sooooo much fun on the road!!! Not to mention your bike will now actually stand out in the typical crowd of sportbikes...
