Release Rumors

A friend was at a dealership the other day speaking to the salesman, and was told that each dealership was only going to be able to sell two S3's each. Has anyone else heard this info?

And if so, is this something just for the states or does it cross the ocean as well?

I'd suspect that the salesperson was confusing the Street for the S3. I doubt the S3 is in that much demand that production isn't meeting the need. The Street, on the other hand, is an entirely different story.

Thats why I was quite confused, the same dealer has just finally sold a couple of 06's, but since I'm looking to be upgrading bikes in about 3 months, the S3 has been on the mind, I just didn't want to miss out on one.

The Las Vegas dealer's sales manager told me he's only getting 4 Street Triples for the year. Seems like a crime.

Maybe your dealer will only be able to get 2 because his floor plan credit is tied up in 06's...

Anytime a dealer gives you this line just laugh in his face. They are just trying to create a false sense of urgency that you have to buy that bike right now. Sometimes a new model will be in limited supply for awhile but it is infrequent. The local dealer gave me the same BS in 06. I called up Chattanooga and they said they could order as many in any color as I/they wanted. Triumph had bikes sitting in crates waiting to be shipped. 1 week later I had my bike.

Pick up an '06 or '07 and save a few bucks.

+1 on the dealer trying to give you a line o BS.

Well then i guess a good question would be are there any recommended dealerships for someone in south jersey. the closest ones are all pretty much an hour away, Mt. Holly Triumph (Vincentown, NJ), Manayunk Triumph (Philadelphia), and then a dealer beyond that i have to go to delaware or north jersey it looks. Anyone in the area that would be able to throw me a review.
