noticed the 2005 model at the bike show had a span adjustable clutch lever.i was wondering if this would fit the 2004 model.

Not sure about whether it fits or not, but I have seen other bikes clutch levers and housing used, don't know which ones though, sorry.

Perhaps you could pickup the whole unit at a breakers cheaply

Yes it will. The perch changed in 2004. I have a Thruxton lever with a 2004 perch on my '02 955i.

Heres another question: Will the rearsets on a '05 SIII fit a '02 Daytona? I'm betting they will...................

PS; When you pick up the lever ($25), make sure if your stock lever doesn't have the floating bushing that you pick one of those up as well.
