i bought mine for 9300 plus tax out the door plus a $500 factory credit towards triumph accessories. Being that its so late in the season, you should be able to negotiate $1000 off MSRP easily. Salespeople commonly use a tactic where the longer they keep you in the showroom, the more likely you will buy. Use the same tactic on them. Tell them your prepared to buy today if at this price $X. Find out dealer cost. Be firm on your slightly lower than what your going to pay price. If the negotiations go stale, walk away from the desk/office for 20mins. Come back and say "are you going to sell me a bike today or what???". Best case scenario, you negotiate a price close that you both agree on plus free accessories. Good luck.

PS. Be sure to negotiate the gross amount plus admin and any other hidden charges.

I bought mine last Saturday...

I found a 06 Leftover, and got it for $8495, didn't get charged $450 freight, and got a new full face out of the deal for no charge. Me? I'd try the "You have 08's coming, so wouldn't you like to move this 07 at a discount?"

Around here their are few to choose from and they are marked up $500 over dealer cost. Usually one on the floor but it goes quick

Prices are going to vary based on location. I did not see where you are from. I paid $10,499 out the door. Not the best price but certainly better than others have done. I agree with others in that you should have a price in mind and stick with it. But keep in mind that they are not going to sell it at a loss. Do your research.

I just bought mine less than a month ago, and I also paid $10,500 out the door. I think the price of the bike ended up being around $9300 plus $450 freight plus tax which is 6.5%. I was plenty happy as I hate bickering on price.

Seattle dealers: expensive.
Used 05 S3 bought in 06 with a year left on the warranty, much cheaper.
I paid $8800 (about 3K cheaper than the dealer) and it came with sliders, TORS, the seat cowl, and the screen.
With patience you could get a great used bike and spare yourself the slimy-dealer negotiations. No sense buying new until they make some radical changes.

There is an 07 on ebay from a dealer for 8800 I believe. Here is the description.
Relisted; Please, for goodness sake, if you don't have a means to pay for it, don't buy it! That being said...

If you're out there looking for a deal on a new 2007 Triumph Speed Triple then here it is!!! I'm getting KILLED with flooring interest so I'm going to blow out sell this Speed Triple BELOW COST to stop the bleeding. That's right, below cost! For a full list of specs on this model check out www.triumphmotorcycles.com . She's brand new, in beautiful Roulett Green, with a full two year factory warrenty not yet started and we'll fully prep and service her for her new owner at no cost. No hidden fees here, buy it from us, pay your sales tax and titling fees in your home state, and ride her home. Have we ever done this before? Nope. Do I ever want to do this again? Nope. But we've absolutely got to purge ourselves of a few 07's and this is one of them. FYI, this is the only one of these I have so come and get it. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping. Check out www.motorcycleshippers.com for rates from 15963. Any questions, just call me at the shop at 814-467-4830. Triumph of Windber, Windber, PA (85 miles east of Pittsburgh, 120 miles west of Harrisburg). Please only bid if you are buying.

Added 10/24/2007: yes, this is for real, yes it is brand new, yes it has its full factory warranty, yes this is the best we can do (you won't find it cheaper anywhere), no there are no hidden fees, if you are an out of state resident, you'll pay your tax and licensing fees in your state, not PA, and IF you are a PA resident, you will have to pay sales tax, the PA titling fee, licensing fee, and registration fee all to the State of Pennsylvania

I am not involved in this auction, just giving info. Is listing an ebay auction OK on the forum?
