I opened the stock cans on my 06 Speed Triple and removed the catalysts,the throttle repsonse is noticibly smoother in the midrange; it is much easier to ride smoothly now, less abrupt response??!! I also drilled a 1/2" hole in the center baffle plate. that made a very slight difference in the exhaust tone (deeper)but not much more "sound" I just put on the TORS cans and will get a TORS remap next week. Without the remap I think the modified cans produce as mcuh power and response as the TORS cans
