Rearset adjustment capabilities

Because of a shattered ankle and the surgeries that followed, I have difficulty shifting my 07 S3. I can't upshift very well, since my foot won't move as far in that direction as it should. The "adjustments" I can make with the stock lever doesn't cut it. Does anyone have experience/opinions on available rearsets that may help me out?

Thanks!

All after market rearsets have more adjustability that the crap stockers. And they are all expensive...upwards of at least $300, but more like easily $500 is more like it. Some good ones allow you to easily convert the shift pattern to a reverse manner so that you shift through the gears (1,2,3,4,5,6) by pressing the shifter downward instead of the usual upward direction.

Rizoma
Gilles
Sato
Woodcraft
etc

All very reputable brands.

Needed Back surgery during a summer a couple years ago. The only way I could shift was by reversing the linkage on my old bike. I was so used to the reverse shifting when I got my S3 I was quite disappointed I couldn't switch it over I believe there is a linkage on your 07 I may be wrong but you should be able to flip the splined piece on the transmission. That is what I did Hope this helps went though the picture gallery not many people shoot the shifter side.

Thanks, I appreciate the info!

Put some seat time in for me in the meantime! I'm in a "boot" for the next couple months.

You may find that with time and as your recovery progresses that the flexibility will return in your ankle and the need for expensive rearsets is no longer there. get better, eat spinach. lol

There are a couple of additional carbon fiber pieces I've had my eyes on, I'll take your spinach advice!
