Idle RPM too high

Hi guys, i finally ended up getting some replacement fuel line connectors for my s3 is the other one snapped off, installed the new ones myself and hooray! no leaks! However, what i have noticed now is that my idle rpm is around 1500 or so when it used to be around 11-1200. As well as this, after riding and coming to a stop, sometimes the revs take a while to drop down, sometimes 'sticking' at 2k for a couple seconds.

Any ideas on whats going on? Do i need to get the injectors remapped or is this even a problem, i figure 1500 is too high, though its not EXCESSIVE.

Cheers, Owen

adjust the throttle maybe? Any chance the cable is pinched under the tank area? Adjusted too tight at the grip? Sorry, its late...tired. lol

If the problem suddenly appeared after you were under the tank, I would guess air leak or throttle cable routing prob.

Maybe best check that airbox is properly seated on throttle bodies and that intake rubbers are crack free and in good condition?

its definately not a throttle cable tension issue. Ive had problems with that before so i made sure it wasnt that.

One issue is that the last fuel line valve thing had fully corroded and so i had to use a screw extractor to get the remnants of the valve out, i noticed that this drilled a little way into the box thing that the valves plug into. What i mean is that the whole the valve screws into was a little dug out at the back of the threaded shaft, perhaps its allowing too much fuel in?

Can i adjust the injectors to reduce the amount of petrol thats being released?
