Urgent help!

Hi all, i was replacing the washers on the fuel hoses the ones that plug into the regulator (i assume) and being covered in fuel for 10 years the housing decided to snap. Not sure how to explain what im talking about. Its a haxagonal white plastic seal of some sort, one way valve perhaps, and it has snapped off where it screws into the regualtor (the black box thingy that the fuel lines plug into).
It says 'colder prod mpls mn' on it. Anyone know that this is called? How do i get another one, and how do i get the other piece of it out of my bike? Please if anyone can offer assistance, this is my only transport and now it obviously cant run.

My only suggestions are ones you have probably already thought of, like call a dealer or parts supplier. Good luck.

Go to Bikebandit.com and look that part up. They have detailed diagrams for each little piece on the bike and that way you can get a precise name for it. They take about 2 weeks to get parts for Triumph to your door, at least, and that's if the part isn't back ordered. I've dealt with them a lot....Triumph parts take longer!

But at least you can get the name of the part by looking at it on a schematic and then go to the dealer and order it, they can get stuff in a week. Or with the name of the part you can try to get a used one, etc.

if you bring the bike into the dealer and bite the bullet, they might alos give you a lonaer bike so you can get around.

There was/is a factory recall for the fuel connectors, but the replacement ones triumph supply fix only half the problem. If you go to www.rideteamtriumph.com, you can purchase the complete metal fittings for about 70 bucks. I replaced mine and it was an easy job. Also, if you do a search on here or at T595.net, you will find a lot of instruction on how to replace them.

+ 1 to what Speed 3 has to say. I broke my fittings too and the ONLY way to go is to get the metal fittings from Team Triumph. I do routine maintenance to my bike and would have a garage full of gas (as I did before getting the fittings) if it were not for this replacement.
