pics of my new matt black 07 - pics now working!

Freshly run in, about to go in for first service at 750kms. Restrained mods so far include R&G tail tidy, Triumph screen and seat cowl, and radiator/oil cooler covers from Mike's Grilles. Otherwise just enjoying riding it. Hope the saddle beds in a bit, I get fidgety after an hour. Also the index finger of my left hand goes numb, could be vibes?

First impressions, engine feels really frisky, with more grunt than my old 955i Speed Triple (even while running in), gearbox a bit better, suspension better quality than the 955i and ideal for my 175lbs (it was set too hard as standard but backed off damping a bit and I would say it is now excellent, as good as my 2005 Fireblade was).

Mirrors look ugly but work really well with my 5'8" frame, in a dilemma between looks and functionality.

Standard mufflers definitely getting a bit louder with a few miles on the clock, not too bad sounding for stock.Tempted with Trident or TORS mufflers when the wife gets over buying the thing.

Love the matt black finish, the sun was so bright that it doesn't look all that matt in the pics, but it certainly is.

Saddle is a bit of a funny shape, bit like a large bicycle feel to it, hard to move around.

Will get round to a bit of powder coating/ceramic at some point, but as it is spring here I thing I will wait for winter before dismantling.

I think the matte black looks great! I have that finish on my dyna and it is incredibly easy to take care of.
