Updated 2008 Speed Triple
Todays MCN gave limited info on next years S3. Cosmetic changes to seat unit and new multi-spoke wheels plus engine mods (maybe more power) and Brembo radial brakes. No doubt pictures will soon be available to tempt us.

I better hurry up and pay my bike down to trade in value. I'll NEED the 2008 version just for the Brembo set up. I heard the new seat has a flip up stiff rubber ding-a-ling you can sit on, you squeeze it with your sphincter to change gears.

Ahhh...the anal probe models (can you say anal in here?)...I heard they had a fax that is sent to the mothership when you shut the bike off!

Ummmm... in that case I think I'll stick with my 95.

I'm not too sure about the new(ish) look tail unit. Looks a little "boxy". Also, I reckon the extra spokes will make the bike look less minimalistic.
I reckon it's trying to look more like the Street Triple which, although a good looking bike, lacks something compared to the current Speed Triple.
I'll have to see more photos of the updated S3 before I can say it's better looking than the current one.

Black Forks rule
They finally got this one right... black forks!

Also, like others I'm not quite sure on the multi spoke wheels...

The multi spoke wheels don't do it for me neither. I like the forks on the current model, but I also get the black forks on the white S3.

Question about the Brembo's: do you think we'll be able to get an upgrade kit for the <'08 models? Man, every time I ride a friend's KTM SuperDuke, I realize what a good front brake is...
