2006 S3 RPM Studder?

My bike recently is studdering /cutting out around 4-5000 rpms. I just barely notice it.I don't like it though.... I am running devil race cans and a tune from triumph to match the cans. I have 8k milage on the bike so far in one years time. I'm not sure if it's a tune issue or a good lod tune up needed? Any input would help.....

Thanks,
Speeeeeeeeeeeed.........

Not too sure how bad the problem is if can can just notice it. But the other day in neutral I tried to hold the rev's steady at 5k (a friend wanted to see how loud the TORS are). The funny thing is it seemed impossible to do so, even with a locked wrist. Never would have noticed otherwise, and the bike seems perfect to ride. I don't mean to make light of a potential problem but just maybe its "Stock" but now you're looking for it?

I had a Triumph tune installed on my 2005. I had to ride it on the freeway 80 miles home. The tune was awful. I had to cruise at 4000 rpm and that is where it was the worst. The exhaust did ot sould right, and the throttle responce was too snappy at low rpm. I did not ride the bike after that until I got a tunboy. I in one of their tunes and is it is perfect. Starts very good, lots of power and no hiccups.
My opinion is the Triumph tunes are not so good.

The stock Triumph tunes (both bone stock & TORS) are horribly lean from 3500-5500 RPM, and could cause the miss you're talking about. If you buy cheap gas regularly, or even from time to time, run some injector cleaner thru it just to make sure, but I'm betting a tweaked Arrow TuneBoy tune would do you much better. If you know someone with the cable, just buy a key ($200AUD) and borrow the cable...
