Dyno Results - Stock 06 S3

Went to a dyno day BBQ this weekend. Totally stock 06 S3 with the newest Triumph tune pushed to the puter.

126 Hp @ 9600 rpm - 77ft-lbs @ 3657 rpm

He said there was more if the rev limiter wasn't there. He also mentioned that triumph was very conservative with the fuel/air mixture.

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not!!

That sounds pretty close to what they claim. I have a stock 06. It runs so well that i'am hesitant to mess with it but i think i may do the Arrow 3/1 this winter.

I was told also that dynos vary a little between types/brands.

Cant wait for Power Commander to come out with a PCIII for the 07. Then Nigel will see some dyno time.

Cheers

In dyno terminology does "corrected" mean some equation is used to work out how much power a bike makes at the sprocket as opposed to the wheel?

Yes, they measure power at the wheel and make "corrections" e.g. use factors to estimate/calculate power at cranckshaft or at outputshaft gearbox
