The SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) corrections are only for barometric pressure, ambient temperature and humidity to give comparable results on different days. Any good dyno operator SHOULD be doing the SAE corrections so you can make accurate comparisons when you are making changes. However, I have never seen a bike shop dyno with an accurate barometer let alone a psychrometer.

Anybody trying to take rear wheel power and turn it into crankshaft horsepower is just blowing smoke so you have big numbers on the print out. There is no way to accurately know the power losses in the transmission & final drive without doing lots more testing.

actually... that one's not. It doesn't tell what mods you have, much less what bike it is. How did your peak HP come at over 10k rpm when the stock limiter is at 9450? If you have Tuneboy, you can change the limiter to what you wish, but I wouldn't recommend going over 9950. I don't believe there's no way any S3 would peak at that high of an rpm without changing the cams.

Looks very fishy.. HP and TQ shouldn't be peaking that high in the RPM range.

All you need is a Tuneboy to raise the rev limiter... I raised mine to 10k without any adverse effects. As long as you're not slapping off the rev limiter all the time its no biggie.

Anyway, unless you've got some new and improved stock bike, all the people I'd seen before with 05/06 1050's were getting 113-118hp with their bikes in stock form. Even the TORS and other exhaust systems were only giving a few extra HP. It wasn't until Devi did a pile of header and intake mods that he got up to 130hp at the rear wheel.

Red face Thats what it says...honest

He did 10 runs, the last 4 were graphed. They are very consistant. Dont know how the box works, but thats what it said. He does tech support for Dynastar and seemed to know what he was doing (I certainly didn't). Most of the bikes that were done that day seemed to be within the ballpark.

broken in by the book, ridden aggressively but not abusively...
