1050 S3 955I cams interchangeable??

Does anyone know if the cams are interchangeable. I know the early 955 cams were interchangeable with the 885 engines, and made really good power in a T509 and even in Thunderbirds. I was thinking that the 1050 engine might respond really well to later model 955i cams and valve springs. Might give up some torque down low but would probably really come alive around 8000 rpm with the longer stroke engine?
