Bought the Corbin
After my weekend ride of 250 miles on my 07 I decided the stock seat ain't cutting it anymore. Debated over the Sargent and Corbin - have owned both in the past. I decided on the Corbin based on the shape of the seat where my arse rests. It looks like it would fit my fat behind a lot better. Hope I didn't make a $360 mistake. I will provide a ride report after it arrives.
If this doesn't work keep an eye on the classifieds.

Corbin seat is a good option. I have heard many poor customer service stories that would cause me to monitor them closely. YMMV.
Good luck with it.

Seat height changed?
Is it true that the Corbin seat decreases the seat height on the Speed Triple?

I put a corbin on my '07 and I did not notice any difference in seat hight (I couldn't quite flat foot it stock and I still can't with the corbin)... There is a big improvement in the comfort department... The talk about poor customer service over the phone does have some truth to it, but I got my seat exactlly as I ordered it in about 2 1/2 weeks... I've been happy with it ever since...

Monitor? What monitor? You buy a seat and if you have a problem, you're on your own. I gave up on them years ago after the miserable response I got from them regarding a seat I bought for my BMW.

Post pics when you get it. Especially of the tail. The pics on the website really don't show it from the back.

I refuse to do business with Corbin because of their pathetic customer service.
I bought a seat for a BMW, when it arrived the leather was sliced. I called and naturally they blamed me for cutting it when I opened the box.
"That's odd," I told them. "The bag the seat came in is not cut. Wouldn't the bag have been cut if I cut the seat?"
I sent it all back to them and they repaired it but it took about six weeks and I had to pay shipping to return it.
I have a Sargent and love it. The seat is also made a heckuva lot better than the Corbin.
Corbin's TV show also sucks, almost as bad as their customer service.

I have found Sargent great to work with.

I bought my bike with both, corbin and OEM seat, and I find the Corbin seat to be super hard. I went for a 250 mile ride to Deals Gap, rode the entire weekend, and rode back home with the OEM seat and I was fine. I have actually cosidered selling the corbin.
