left side low side swingarm damage?
the rear passenger peg looks like it'll protect the right axle in case of a right side low side
but on the left side...doesn't look like the passenger peg would help out the swingarm/hub area
I have skyking sliders installed and the CSG clutch and alternator protectors on order
It seems people lowside more often on the right side than the left...
When I low sided my sv650 it was on the right side, even when a car pulled out in front of me and I t-boned the car (thank God it was a miata) the sv fell on the right.
Anyone have experience with left side low sides?

left low side
I left side low sided my 06 s3, i had frame sliders on the front motor mounts only, that saved some stuff, but the stater cover got scratched so bad, it wore all the way through and started leaking, the shifter also got bent/broken and when i flew off the bike i apparently hit the rad cowl on the right side and cracked the radiator at the bolt mounts

both sides down
haven't dropped the 955i triumph, but have dropped the old ones (ancient history), left side seems to be predominate in my law of gravity violations. dropped just about everything else at least once- norton, ducati, harley, triumph, suzuki, honda, yamaha, kawasaki, penton, ajs, bsa, bmw, dkw, bultaco. luckily, my left knee usually prevented much damage to the machines- hooray! right side, not so much damage- couple broke ribs & fingers, left side- don't get me started, the pains return. probably about a 90-10 split (no pun intended) left vs. right. invariably the causes were: persistent operation outside of practical performance envelope. road conditions and machine deficiencies were not often a significant factor. in other words- yes, you can have too much fun! have not been turned in to a hood ornament (yet), not bad for 42 years of operation, ehh?

My only mishap on the S3 was a left side lowside at low speed. The passenger peg, alternator cover, and shifter took the brunt of it. Surprisingly inexpensive, even counting the cover.

I'm touching wood here but I haven't dropped my CB1300 but I have installed bobbins either side of the engine to protect the engine casings which would be expensive to replace if cracked even from a standing still fall. I would recommend these, cheap and easy to install.
I had a low speed fall off my TB and only broke the r/h indicator pod but not the lens, apart from stuffing up my shoulder.

My tt600 went down on the leftside punched a good size hole in the stator cover. Also the rear foot peg went straight through my calf. So remember to put them up. I now have another pretty cool scar to add to the collection. :

usually slider cannot protect the generator cover at all. but it covers the frame and radiator. luckily triumph generator cover is stronger then jap rivarlies. jap ones are weak!
rear axl sliders are good for protecting foot pegs and also swing arm. basicly you can use skate board wheels if you don't mind the looks.

Live on the track, crash on the track. My TT600 went down on both sides during trackdays, and now my 675 has gone down on the left side on the track. Lowsiding is far preferable to highsiding. I would rather not fall off, but if it has to happen, lowsiding is the way to go.

I am knocking on wood here.
The only time I dropped my Bonnie was on the first day I owned it. I didn't know how cold blooded they can be when you first start 'em up. I didn't give the bike five minutes to warm up. At the end of the driveway it stalled as I was making a left turn. I complicated matters by squeezing the front brake. It fell over at approximate 1/4 mph. I managed to stand up while holding the handlebars and gently lowered the bike to the ground. No scratches or scrapes. I just had to readjust the mirrors.
Lesson learned? Give the Bonnie at least five minutes warmup time when it is cold. I also spent alot of time working on clutch control.
