How do you repost a pic?

I have previously posted a picture on a forum and I wanted to post that same picture on a different forum, but when I try to upload it, I get the message that I have already posted it so it won't let me upload it again.

Any suggestions other than changing the file name?

I am sure I am just being ignorant and there is an easy way to do this.

That would be wasteful of server space, of course. I'm assuming that you posted it as an attachment. If so, you should be able to go back to the post where it appears, find the URL of the picture, and use that inside an IMG tag in the new post.

If you go to your User Control Panel, at the bottom of the index on the left, under Misc is a link for "Attachments". That will list all the images that you have uploaded.
The problem is that if you take the properties of that image & try to use it in your new post, it will not display the image - only post it up as a hyperlink.

The moderator must have disabled this feature - you can typically do this (& re-display the actual image) on other VBulletin forums
