handlebar question??

sat on the speed triple today....loved it..but wondered if there are any aftermarket or factory bars (dealer kid didnt know) that would raise up the bars about two inches and or bring them back towards me about the same amount?? thank you for your help as always.....if there are such bars...i think that would seal the deal for me on one of these beauties......

There are lots of different bars and british customs sells a different riser called a "barback"

Here's the link:

Funny, majority of links out there are regarding bars that are a bit lower and more forward.

chimey chimey..... they look like crap. Dont buy a triple, the Rebel 250 would be perfect, lots of pull back on those bars. Plus chicks dig a Rebel.

if it matters.....my left arm is about four inches shorter than the right due to a botched elbow surgery when i was a child....moving of the bars in the way i would like will make it possible for me to be completely or at least more so comfortable..thank you for your help as always....

Thumbs down

Nothing worse than a smart arse response to a valid question. Remmy needs to climb back into his hole.

One thing to know, to move the bars at all or replace them, the brake cables will have to be replaced. They are too short for any bar mods.

Allow me to high jack this thread instead of going through all the other handlebar threads . I want to get a conical bar that brings me as much forward as possible without getting clip ons . Nothing against them, I've had plenty of bikes with clip ons but I've always favored more of a drag bar on my bikes .

Thinking of getting the rizoma 40mm followed by their fat bars, but I'm not sure if they make several different handlebars or if someone out there has a wide variety of conical bars ...anyone ? bueller ?
