The 08's ain't nut'n special, you might as well wait until 2012 when I hear they will really be changing thangs.

No big diff between 07 and 08's. If you can wait another yr do it...apparantly the 2009 model is the yr for some real changes.

Or fack it...get an 08 and save a yr being miserable cuz you're not riding a speed triple. Great bike to have great fun with! :

Aske:...thanks for the link..just finished the 20 pages!!! wow...anyways...i ask about the differences between 07-08 because my dealer here has 2 07 in stock.. a royal blue all stock for list..and a 07 black with all carbon and exhaust redone for 12k didnt know if id be better off waiting till say november for an 08 or should i try and jerk them down from list on the 07's they have....though i do love the green they have...id probably go with the black over the blue..though i have not seen the blue in person yet.........im amazed by the promptness and niceness of this forum...its a pleasure to see this type of passion, and this type of cordialness (even a word)...towards an obvious newbie...with a question that im sure is asked often....on another note...im 6'1" and about 270lbs.....will this bike be terribly uncomfortable?? thanks again for all the help so far....awesome group of enthusiasts here.....

I'm 6'0 240 and I like the feel of the bike just fine. I've heard others complain about the feel, but compared to my 04 gsxr 1000, my 07 speedy is miles ahead in the comfy depo. Also, get the black S3 with all the carbon bits you will save over $1000 than if you were to buy those parts separately. They most likely will not come down off the price of it though, as it is one of fifty special editions released by Triumph.
