RIZOMA bars

Hi folks!

Does anyone have the Rizoma bars? (I can't do a search right now, on a Treo cell phone passing time at the airport).

1) Are they the same as stock without changing the ride position configuration?

2) Do they require different risers? if so, which size risers to keep the ride position as close to stock as possible.

Thanks! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

If you get the 22mm bars you can use the std risers.

DEcosse:

Thanks for the input. I'm hungover from vegas so need clarification bro...

You say if I use the 22mm bars I can use the "std" risers. You mean use the stock risers or the standard size? Any chance you could educate me what size/measurements the standard risers are so I can tell PJ's to get them ordered? I want the Rizoma black ones. THANKS!

My main thing is I would like to maintain the stock fee/riding position of the bike...the bars would just be a cosmetic alteration (black.)

Thanks, man.

22mm is your stock bar, 29mm is a fat bar or "conical". So a 22mm rizoma bar will bolt on to your stock risers. Rizoma doesn't make a riser for a 22mm bar, only the 29mm fat bar (according to their web site).

I have the 22mm black ones, and they are almost exactly the same config as the stock, just a few degrees forward. You have to account for the tabs on the switch casings on both sides; either drill holes, or grind off the tabs. Other than that, they are no trouble installing.
